Clear cache for your Web Application Firewall (WAF)

  Required: If you purchased Website Security after 11/14/2023, scroll down to find a new procedure.

Note: Does your WAF/CDN seem to be missing features? Here's what you need to know.

After you make changes to your Web Application Firewall (WAF), you can clear the cache to force your changes to take effect.

  1. Go to your GoDaddy product page.
  2. Under Website Security and Backups, select Manage next to the Website Security account you want to manage.
  3. Under Firewall, select Details.
  4. Under Performance, select Clear Cache.
  5. Once the cache has been cleared a message will appear in the upper-right corner: The cache for coolexample.com is being cleared. Note that it may take up to two minutes for it to be fully flushed.

  Required: If you purchased Website Security after 11/14/2023, please use the following procedure.

Clear cache for your WAF

  1. Go to your GoDaddy product page
  2. Next to Website Security and Backups, select Manage All.
  3. Under Firewall, select Details.
  4. Under Performance, select Clear Cache.
  5. Once the cache has been cleared a message will appear in the upper-right corner: Your request to purge the cache has been submitted. Please allow up to 30 seconds for the purge to take effect.
