Decline a domain account change

If you have a pending domain name account change but do not want to move it, you can decline the account change. Here's how to cancel incoming or outgoing changes.

Cancel an incoming domain move

Use these instructions when a domain name is being moved to your account, but you do not want to accept it.

  1. Log in to your My Products page.
  2. If you aren't automatically directed there, make sure to select the My Products tab:

  4. Click Manage All:
  5. Manage All

  6. From the Domains tab in the upper left, select Pending Account Changes.
  7. Click Incoming Account Changes.
  8. Select the domain name.
  9. Click Decline.
  10. Select Decline domain account change, and then click OK twice.

Cancel an outgoing domain move

Use these instructions when a domain name is being moved out of your account, but you do not want the domain name moved.

  1. Log in to your My Products page.
  2. If you aren't automatically directed there, make sure to select the My Products tab:

  4. Click Manage All:
  5. Manage All

  6. From the Domains tab in the upepr left, select Pending Account Changes.
  7. Click Outgoing Account Changes.
  8. Select the domain name.
  9. Click Remove.
  10. Select Remove domain account change requests, and then click OK twice.
